During this half term (Spring 1) we are learning how to write 'Newspaper Reports'. 

We will be writing our own newspaper reports about the events from our story 'Escape from Pompeii'. 

The features we will be focusing on are: 

- Correctly punctuating conversations between characters

- Summarising events

- Empathising with characters

- Writing in the correct tense

- Time conjunctions

We will also be focusing on improving our skills around:

- Retrieval

- Inference

- Predictions
