A very warm welcome to Rood End Primary School. We are a 2-form entry school located in Oldbury in the West Midlands serving a diverse and multicultural community. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive and caring school family where everyone is valued and respected.

 Our vision for children who attend our school is that we nurture in them the HOPE and AMBITION that enables them to overcome challenges and obstacles so that they ACHIEVE and SUCCEED in all they do. 

Through our carefully planned A.C.E. curriculum, underpinned by the drivers ASPIRATIONS, CURIOSITY and EXPERIENCES, we hope that children will embrace knowledge and demonstrate our key values in order to become life-long learners and make positive contributions to their communities at every stage of their life. This is further echoed in our school motto; Ready, Respectful, Safe.

Our daily routines are linked closely to our We R RICH school values – Respectful, Resilient, Inclusive, Collaborative and Honest and opportunities are planned within and across year groups to ensure children learn about and understand the importance of these values, as well as how we can demonstrate these in our everyday lives.

We believe that working in partnership with parents and carers is of great importance, and welcome parents to share their thoughts and suggestions about school life.
