All of our school meals are freshly cooked onsite by SIPS who provide school with lunchtime catering.

School meals are a healthy well-balanced lunch option for the children. 

Our catering service ensures that the meals provide:

• Fresh meat, poultry and fish 
• Vegetarian option
• Fresh local fruit and vegetables used where possible.
• Daily salad bar 
• Special themed menus

Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 receive a free meal.  This is known as Universal Free Meals and is not reliant on eligibility for Free School Meals. For children in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6, parents can pay for school meals.  Some families will be eligible for Free School Meals.  Information on how to check if you are eligible is available from the school office or alternatively on the link provided below.

School dinners cost £2.55 per day for children (£12.75 per week).  Payment is required in advance of meals being taken.  If an account falls too far into arrears meal selections/choices will be unavailable. 

Lunch choices are available on Parent Pay where you and your child are able to select which meal they would like at the beginning of the week, this is a requirement as this allows the kitchen to prepare the correct amount of food and reduces waste.  Choosing suitable meals with your child for the week ahead helps to encourage children to make healthy choices and allows you to know what your child is eating each day. 

Please take 5 minutes each weekend to go through the choices with your child and choose before coming into school.
