At the start of each school year, Meet the Teacher gives you the chance to:

• Meet your child’s new class teacher
• Find out what to expect in the coming year
• Hear about the key learning goals and what your child will be working on
• Get tips on how to support your child’s learning at home

It’s all about building a strong partnership between home and school so every child feels supported and ready to learn.

We really encourage every parent or carer to join us. Your involvement makes a big difference! By coming, you’ll:

• Understand how we structure learning to help your child build confidence and resilience
• See how our values like respect and teamwork are part of everyday classroom life
• Pick up practical ideas for helping your child with reading, writing, maths, and other skills
• Meet staff who are here to support all children

During the session, you’ll:

• Hear about the year’s curriculum focus, including how we support skills like maths fluency, phonics & reading, and confident writing
• Get advice on how to help your child at home
• Learn about behaviour expectations and how we promote our motto 'Ready, Respectful, Safe' and how we encourage our values
• Have time to ask questions and chat with your child’s teacher about anything on your mind
