Whenever there is capacity, Rood End Primary supports students to complete their school-based work experience. We provide opportunities for pupils who wish to pursue a future career in primary education or fulfil other roles working within a school setting. 

Should you wish to receive a placement at our school, we would like you to complete an application form. Paper copies are available on request. 

Before beginning your work experience, you will have an induction meeting where we will outline the school's expectations. This will include procedures linked to health and safety and safeguarding.  

Adult volunteers will also need to complete this form and will sign the Volunteer Agreement once induction has been completed. Placements are subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
