Within school, we have now began to use Rocket Phonics to teach the children to read the sounds in words.  This is a systematic, synthetic phonics programme that is approved by the DfE.  Phonics is aimed to help children to learn to read skilfully and it is an important part of a child's early education.  More details about this programme will be updated here so keep checking back on this page to find out more!
