We started the term reading animal poems from the book
The Iron Wolf by Ted Hughes
We created our own poems using metaphors and similes about our favourite animals.
We then focused on our grammar skills:
- Possessive Apostrophes
- Fronted Adverbials
- Possessive Pronouns
We created our own non-chronological reports (fact files) on our favourite animals.
we looked at their habitats, diets, sleeping patterns, type of animal, size and fun facts!
